Nucleus Controls all function. The "Brain"
Mitochondria Makes energy in animal cells (RESPIRATION)
Chloroplast Makes energy in plant cells (PHOTOSYNTHESIS)
Cell Membrane Protects. Homeostasis. Controls what goes in or out
Cytoplasm Jell-like fluid fill. Surround all the organelles
Lysosome Clean up crew. Removes damaged cells
Organelles Individual structures in a cell
Prokaryotic No nucleus, DNA is in the cytoplasm
Eukaryotic DNA is in the nuceus
Cell Wall Rigid outer layer of plant cells
