Where does photosynthesis take place? In the CHOLROPLASTS found in the LEAF of the plant
What do the veins do? Carry water to the plant’s cells
What are the 4 things necessary for photosynthesis to occur? Sunlight, Water, Carbon Dioxide, and Cholorphyll (inside the cholorplasts)
What are the stomata? Tiny openings in the plant that take in carbon dioxide
What happens in the cholorplasts? Energy from the sun is used to convert water and carbon dioxide into sugar
What else is produced during photosynthesis? oxygen
