Genetics Is the study of genes it determines how we act look and personalty
Heredity Passing of trait to parents to offspring
Characteristics Is a feature that has different forms population
Traits A trait is a different form of characteristics
Dominant trait Masks the other traits. The trait that shows up if presents
Recessive trait The trait that recedes or hides . The recessive trait only show if both alleles are present
Ratio Is a relationship between two different numbers that is often expressed as a fraction
Genes Are instructor for both the dominate trait and the recessive trait
Allele The different forms often dominant trait and recessive gene
phenotype organisms appearance tells you what it looks like
Genotype Both inherited alleles from an organism
Homozygous homo means same zygous means different
Heterozygous means unlike or different
Punnett Square Is used to organized all possible combinations .
Probability The likely hood that a possible future event will occur in a given instance of the event
Gregor Mendel Is considered to be the father of heredity and genetics
