Rotation/Rotate To spin or make a circular motion on its own axis
Revolution/Revolve To go all the way around
Axis An imaginary line which the body rotates
Equator An imaginary line dividing the Northern and Southern hemisphere

Day/Night Cycle Caused by the Earth's rotation or spinning on its axis once every 24 hours

Moon Earth's natural satellite. Made of rock, no life or water. Gets its light from the sun. No atmosphere.
Sun Star at the center of our Solar System. Huge ball of magnetic plasma. It has a magnetic field. Mostly made of hydrogen.
