Genetics the scientific study of heredity.
Heredity The passing of traits from parent to offspring.
Trait A characteristic that an organism can pass on to its offspring through its genes.
Gene Segment of DNA that codes for a specific trait (found on chromosomes in the nucleus)

Asexual Reproduction One parent(s)
Heterozygous having two different alleles for a trait.
genotype an organisms genetic makeup,or allele combinations
phenotype an organisms physical appearance or visible traits .
chromosomes a threadlike structure of nucleic acids and protein found in the nucleus of most living cells ,carrying genetic info in the form of gene .
