Force A push or pull that can change the motion of an object
Balanced forces separate forces on an object that combined do not change the movement of the object
unbalanced forces Forces on an object that cause change in the motion o the object
net force the sum of all the forces acting on an object
at rest the state of an object when its not in motion
motion the change in an objects position with respect to time and in comparison to the position of other objects used as reference points
speed the rate is measured are expressed as distance per time
Direction a straight path that an object can move along
friction force that opposes the motion of one surface across another
frame or referance a system that uses axes or background objects to measure the position or movement of an object
velocity measurement of speed and direction of an object
acceleration the rate of change in an objects speed
