Science safety🙊

Can you enter a science laboratory whenever you like? No you can't you should ask first.
Should I always act sensibly in the lab? You should always act sensibly in the lab.
If you have long hair do you have to tie it back? You must only tie it back if it is a practical.
Can I leave a Bunsen burner unattended? You can't it will be dangerous if you did also make sure if you are not using it at that particular moment put it on safety flame.
Am I allowed to sit down whilst doing an experiment? No I can't I need to be able to stand up.
If I have an accident or break anything or if there's a spillage should I tell the teacher straight away? It depends if it is a spillage of water or not so dangerous chemical it's fine but if you break glass or a dangerous chemical you should definitely go and tell the teacher.
Is it ok to wear my safety goggles on my head instead of over my eyes? They must be over your eyes.
Should I always follow instructions? Yes I should always follow the instructions if it is told by the teacher that is in the room but if it is a child then you should go and ask the teacher if what they're saying is correct.
Can I ever eat or drink in the in the lab? No you're never allowed to eat or drink in the lab because if you are handling chemicals then you could eat or drink them and create a spillage because of it.
