Pathogen organisms that cause disease
temperature The degree of hotness or coldness of a body or environment
virus non-living thing that causes disease in humans, animals and plants
Antibody Protein that defends the body against disease
White Blood Cell (WBC) A blood cell that fights disease.
Lymph Nodes Small mass of tissue that contains lymphocytes and filters pathogens from the lymph
Antibiotic Medicine that kills or slows the growth of bacteria
Bacteria One-celled micro-organisms, some can be helpful and some cause disease
Lymphatic Vessel Vessels that carry a clear fluid called lymph
Parasite An organism that lives on or in another organism.
