Occurs as a result of GERD- backward flow of HCl acid Esophageal Ulcers
Pain occurs 1/2 to 1 hour after meals Gastric Ulcers
Eating does not relieve pain and pain may subside with vomiting Gastic Ulcers
Pain 2-3 hours after eating and has hypersecreation of stomach acids Duodenal Ulcers
Most likely to perforate and is relieved by eating Duodenal Ulcers

Most lethal complications of a peptic ulcer Perforation
Proton pump inhibitors, bismouth salts, and antibodics treat... H. pylori ulcers
