| superficial | appearing to be true or real only until examined more closely. |
| incident | an event or occurrence. |
| suspicious | causing one to have the idea or impression that something or someone is of questionable, dishonest, or dangerous character or condition. |
| scenario | a written outline of a movie, novel, or stage work giving details of the plot and individual scenes. |
| accosted | approach and address (someone) boldly or aggressively. |
| resist | a resistant substance applied as a coating to protect a surface during some process, for example to prevent dye or glaze adhering. |
