accosted approach and address (someone) boldly or aggressively.
resist a resistant substance applied as a coating to protect a surface during some process, for example to prevent dye or glaze adhering.
oppression prolonged cruel or unjust treatment or control.
apartheid segregation on grounds other than race.
exonerated especially of an official body absolve (someone) from blame for a fault or wrongdoing, especially after due consideration of the case.
injustice an unjust act or occurrence.
