| Venus | air is mostly made of carbon dioxide, brightest object in the sky except Earth and Sun |
| Mercury | temperature is very hot, atmosphere is very thin, has many craters |
| Craters | large holes in the ground formed with very large and heavy objects hit the planet surface. |
| Neptune | very cold planet, atmosphere is made of different ices and rock |
| Mars | studied for years by scientists, very muchl ike Earth . Humans might be able to live on Mars |
| Jupiter | made of mostly gases, largest planet in the solar system. Atmosphere is liquid hydrogen and helium |
| Saturn | has rings around it which are mostly made of ice. It's surface is very hot. |
| radiate | to give out ( heat) . Saturn radiates heat. |
