Biotic Factors The living parts of an ecosystem
Abiotic Factors Nonliving parts of in ecosystems. Examples:soil, water, temparture, sunlight
Organism A single formof life ; the simplest form of organizanition in ecolgy
Population All members of one kind of organism that live in a particular area
Communities A group of different populations of organisms
Ecosystems A collection of different communities and the abiotic factors
Deforestation The clearing of forest lands
Ecology The study of interactions between living things and their envireoments
