TermDefinition
Biotic Factors The living parts of an ecosystem.
Abiotic Factors Nonliving things in ecosystems.
Organism A single form of life; the simplest form of organzation in ecology
Population All members of one kind of organism that live in a particular area
Communities A group of different populations of organisms
Ecosystem A collection of different communities and the abiotic factors
Deforestation The clearing of forest lands.
Ecology The study of interactions between living things and their enviroments.
Tropical Rain Forest In this biome , Earth receives direct sunlight most of the year, so temperatures are always warm. The climate is also very wet.
Biome A large-Scale ecosystem.
