Biotic factors The living parts of the Ecosystem
Abiotic factors Nonliving things in ecosystems are called abiotic factors Examples:soil,water,temperature,sunlight
Organism A single form of life; the simplest form of organization in ecology.
Population All members of one kind of organism that live in a particular area.
Communities A group of one kind of organism.
Ecosystem A collection of different communities and the abiotic factors.
Deforestation the clearing of forest land
Ecology the study of interactions between living and their environment
Tropical Rain forest in this biome, Earth receives direct sunlight most of the year, so temperature are always warm. The climate is also very wet
