| Organism | A single form of life; the simplest form of organization in ecology |
| Population | All members of one kind of organism that live in one particular area |
| Communities | A group of different populations of organisms |
| Ecosystem | A collection of different communities and Abiotic Factors |
| Deforestation | The clearing of forest lands |
| Tropical Rain Forest | In this biome, Earth receives direct sunlight most of the year, so temperatures are always warm. The climate is also very wet |
