optic nerve carries visual impulses from the eye to the brain.
oculomotor nerve concerned with concerned with the contraction most of the eye muscles.
trochlear nerve supplies one eyeball muscle.
trigminal nerve great sensory nerve of the nerve of the face and head.
ophthalmic (trigminal branch)
maxillary (trigminal branch)
mandibular (trigminal branch)
nerves 1,2,13? sensory fibers
nerves 3,4,6,11,12? motor fibers
nerves 5,7,9,10? both snesory and motor fibers
abduceps nerve another nerve sending controlling impulses to a eyeball muscle.
facial nerve muscles of the facial expression are all supplied by branches from facial nerve.
vestibulocochlear nerve carries sensory impulses for hearing and equilibrum from inner ear.
glossopharyngeal nerve general sensory fibers from posterior toungue and pharynx
vagus nerve supplies most of the organs in throatic and abdominal cavities. longest cranial nerve
accessory nerve 2 branches, one controls 2 muscles opf the neck, and the other supplies the muscles of the larynx
hypoglossal nerve carries impulses controlling toungue muscles
