Mountains and Volcanoes

fault-block mountains forms as the lithosphere is stretched and pulled apart by forces within Earth
volcano an opening in Earth's crust through which molten rock, rock fragments, and hot gases erupt
viscosity how thick a liquid is
shield volcano broad, flat dome built up by many eruptions of lava with low amounts of silica
cinder cone volcano a steep, cone-shaped hill formed b the eruptions of cinders and other rock fragments that pile up around a single crater.
composite volcano a cone-shaped volcano that is steep near the top and flat towards the bottom.
