Investigating Natural Resources

TermDefinition
Resources something that is found in nature and can be used by people.
Properties of Soil texture (particle size), capacity to retain water, and color of soil.
Texture physical feel of something due to the content of particles of various sizes.
Capacity to retain water the amount of water that a given soil can hold.
Renewable Resources a resource which can be used repeatedly and replaced naturally.
Nonrenewable Resources a resource that cannot be replaced by natural means as quickly as it is used.
Conservation the protection of things found in nature.
