species a group of organisms that are very closely related
genus includes similar species
domain there are three domains; Bacteria, Archaea, and Eukarya
Bacteria domain that contains single cell organisms that lack a nucleus in the cell
Archaea domain that contains single celled organisms that live in harsh environments
Eukarya domain that includes all eukaryotes-multi-celled organisms
Protista kingdom of protists including algae, slime molds
Fungi Kingdom of organisms that get energy by absorbing materials
Plantae Kingdom of multicellular organisms that have cell walls and make their own food through the process of photosynthesis
Animalia Kingdom of multicellular organisms that do not have cell walls and get energy by consuming other organisms
