Dinamic Earth

TermDefinition
tectonic plates The tectonic plates are the big slabes of rock that float ontop of the mantle and cause earthquakes when they bump into, slide past or move away from each other.
tremor A tremor is a smaller eathquake that can come either before of after the main earthquake.
epicentre The epicentre is the point directly above the focus on the surface.
hypocentre/focus The focus/hypocentre is the point were the eathquake begins.
core The core is the centre of the earth and is liquid and very hot.
crust The crust is the
mantle

Primary effects Caused by the earthquake.
