This is a tool that will help me get through my ESPS final for school.

| Crater | A hole in the ground that was caused by an explosion. |
| Lithosphere | The crust and the upper mantle |
| Mantle | the putty like layer of the earth where convection happens |
| Crust | the top layer of the earth |
| Asthenosphere | The upper layer of the earths mantle that is below the lithosphere |
| Mesosphere | The area of earths atmosphere that were above the stratosphere and below the thermosphere |
| Core | The center of the earth that is mostly made of melted and solid metal. |
| Ejecta | Material that is thrown out of a crater or volcano. |
| Law of Superposition | A law that states that any undisturbed sequence of rocks deposited in layers has a uniform way of making the higher layers younger |
| Meteoroids | A small body in the solar system that would become a meteor if it entered the atmosphere |
| Meteorites | A meteor that hits the ground after surviving its passage through the atmosphere |
| Comet | a celestial object that has a nucleus and is covered in ice and dust. |
| Asteroid | a small body that is orbiting the sun |
| Uniformitarianism | A theory that changes in the earth's crust during geological history have resulted from the action of continuous and uniform process |
| Relative Age | The science of determining the relative order of past events |
| Strata | A series or layers of rock in the ground |
| Stratosphere | A layer of the earths atmosphere that is above the troposphere and extends about 32 miles above the earths surface. |
| Thermosphere | A region of the atmosphere above the mesosphere and below the height at which the atmosphere ceases to have the properties of a continuous medium |
| Troposphere | The lowest region of the atmosphere |
| Albedo | The proportion of the incident light or radiation that is reflected by a surface, typically that of a planet or moon. |
| Climate | The weather conditions prevailing in an area in general or over a long period. |
| Global Warming | A gradual increase in the overall temperature of the earths atmosphere. |
| Food Chain | a hierarchical series of organisms each dependent on the next as a source of food |
| Food Web | A system of interlocking and interdependent food chains |
| Ozone | A colorless unstable toxic gas with a pungent odor and a powerful oxidizing properties. |
