Cornea The transparent layer forming the front of the eye
Pupil Dark opening in the center of the iris that varies in size to regulate the amount of light entering the eye
Iris Flat, colored ring shaped membrane behind cornea
Lens Behind iris and pupil, helps focus light and images
Retina Nerve layer: Senses light, transports to brain
Ciliary muscle Part of the eye that connects the iris to the choroid
