Definitions of landforms created by the glaciers
| Term | Definition |

| Arete | Spiky high and between two glaciers |
| Cirque | Bowl-shaped depression formed by glacial erosion |
| Moraine | A large mass of rocks and dirt that is carried along with a glacier |
| Esker | A long ridge of sediment deposited by meltwater from a retreating glacier |
| Roche moutonnee | A rounded mass of rocks smoothed and striated by ice that has flowed over it |
