electrical circuits
| Term | Definition |
|---|---|
| Ohm's law | I=V\R |
| I | Current(amperes)(Amps) |
| V | Voltage(Volts) |
| R | Resistance(ohms) |
| Voltage | A force that pushes the currents through the circuit |
| Resistance | Friction that increases flow of the currents through the circuit |
| Current | The actual "substance" that is flowing through the wires of the circuit |
| Series curcuit | A circle shape current of electricity |
| Parallel circuit | A circuit with many paths for electricity |
| Measuring current | Electric current is measured in amperes(Amps) using a ammeter connected in series in the circuit |
| Measuring voltage | The electrical push which the cells gives to the current is called the voltage. it is measured in volts on a voltmeter |
