TermDefinition
Ohms Law I=V/R I = Current (amperes)(amps) V = voltage (volts) R= Resistance (ohms)
Voltage a force that pushes the current through the circuit
Resistance Friction that impedes flow of current through the circuit
Current The actual substance flowing through the wires of the circuit
Series Circuits A circuit in a row , in only 1 path. If one light goes out the entire circuit breaks
parallel circuit A circuit with many paths for electricity , if 1 light goes out , the circuit remains
