Electrical Circuits
| Term | Definition |
|---|---|
| Ohm's law | I=v/r |
| voltage | A force that pushes the current through the circuits |
| Resistance | A friction that impedes the flow of current through the current |
| Current | The actual "substance" that is flowing through the wires of the circuit ( electrons) |
| Series Circuit | A one way path of electricity flow that when 1 light goes out the others do the same |
| Parallel Circuit | A flow of electricity with many paths that when one light goes off the others stay on |
| Measuring Current | Electric current measured in Amps (A) using an ammeter |
| Measuring Voltage | Voltage measured in volts (V) on a voltmeter |
