|---|---|
| Automata | A moving mechanical device that performs a repetitive function. |
| Model | A visual, mathematical or 3D representation in detail of an object or design. |
| Physical model | A physical representation of an object. |
| Function | A relationship of one set (domain) to another set (range). |
| Computer-aided design or Computer-aided drafting (CAD) | The use of a computer to assist in the process of design a part, circuit, building, etc. |
| Extrusion | A modeling process that creates a three-dimensional form by a closed shape and a length. |
| Solid | A three-dimensional body or geometric figure. |
| Distance | A measure of how far an object has traveled from its starting point. Regardless of its starting or ending position. |
| Displacement | the change in position of an object from its starting to its final position. |
| Velocity | The rate with respect to time that an object changes position. |
| Extrusion | A modeling process that creates a 3d form by defining a closed 2D shape and length |
| Solid | A 3D body or geometric figure. |
| Distance | A measure of how far an object has traveled from its starting point regardless of its starting or ending position. Distance is scalar. |
| Displacement | The change in position of an object from its starting position to its final position. Displacement is described by a magnitude and direction. Displacement is a vector quantity. |
| Velocity | The rate with respect time that an object changes position. A vector quantity. |
