Safety Goggles Eyes equipment for protection
Misleading Graphs Graphs or charts meant to persuade you into thinking or acting a certain way.
Scientific Method a method of research in which a problem is identified, relevant data are gathered, a hypothesis is formulated from these data, and the hypothesis is empirically tested.
Hypothesis a proposition, or set of propositions, set forth as an explanation for the occurrence of some specified group
States of Matter Solids, Liquids and Gases
Phase Changes Changing from one state of matter to the next. Its a physical change like ice to water or water to a gas.
Density the state or quality of being dense; compactness; closely set or crowded condition. How much air to solid ratio is inside an object. D=M/V
Homogeneous Mixtures all of the same or similar kind or nature mixture - noun (chemistry) a substance consisting of two or more substances mixed together (not in fixed proportions and not with chemical bonding). Usually a liquid like chocolate milk. Hard to separate.
Heterogenous Mixtures originating outside the body; consisting of elements that are not of the same kind or nature. So if you don't like the tomatoes in a salad you can pick them off very easily.
