| Organism | A living thing |
| Habitat | An envirment that provides the things a specific organism needs to live,grow,and reproduce |
| Biotic Factor | A living or once living part og an organism's habitat |
| Abiotic Factor | A non living part of an organism's habitat |
| Spescies | A group of similer organisms that can mate with each other and produce an offspring that can also mate and reproduce |
| Population | All the mumbers of one specices in the same area |
| Communtiy | All the different populations that live together in a particular area. |
| Ecoystem | The community of organisms that live in a particular area, along with their nonliving envirment |
| Ecology | The study of how organisms that live interact with each other and their envirment. |
| Birth Rate | The number of births per 1,000 individuals during a certain time |
| Death Rate | The number of deaths per 1,00 individuals during a certain time period. |
| immagration | Movement of individuals intos population's area |
| Emigration | Movement of individuals out of a populations area |
| Population Density | The number of individuals in an area of specific size |
| Limiting Factor | An envirmental factor that causes a population to decress in size |
| Carrying Capacity | The largest population that a particular envirment can support |
