Organism A living thing
Habitat An envirment that provides the things a specific organism needs to live,grow,and reproduce
Biotic Factor A living or once living part og an organism's habitat
Abiotic Factor A non living part of an organism's habitat
Spescies A group of similer organisms that can mate with each other and produce an offspring that can also mate and reproduce
Population All the mumbers of one specices in the same area
Communtiy All the different populations that live together in a particular area.
Ecoystem The community of organisms that live in a particular area, along with their nonliving envirment
Ecology The study of how organisms that live interact with each other and their envirment.
Birth Rate The number of births per 1,000 individuals during a certain time
Death Rate The number of deaths per 1,00 individuals during a certain time period.
immagration Movement of individuals intos population's area
Emigration Movement of individuals out of a populations area
Population Density The number of individuals in an area of specific size
Limiting Factor An envirmental factor that causes a population to decress in size
Carrying Capacity The largest population that a particular envirment can support
