| Tissue | A group of similar cells preforming a specific function. |
| Organ | A body structure that is composed of different kinds of tissues that work together. |
| Radial Symmetry | A body plan which any number of lines can go through the center point and divide it into 2 mirror images. |
| Bilateral Symmetry | A body plan with one line of symmetry that divides it into 2 sides that are equal. |
| Homeostasis | The condition in which an organisms internal organs are stable. |
| Adaption | An inherited behavior or physical characteristic that helps an organism survive and reproduce. |
| Vertebrate | An animal with a back bone. |
| Invertebrate | An animal without a back bone. |
