Weather and Climate

Front The location where one air mass is replacing another air mass; examples: warm front, cold front
Weather Describes the condition of the air outdoors, such as temperature, cloud cover, wind speed, and rainfall
Climate Average weather conditions of a region year after year
Air Pressure A force applied by the weight of air
Humidity The amount of water vapor in the air
Data Piece of information
Precipitation Rain, snow, sleet, or hail that falls from clouds in the sky
Temperature How hot or cold something is
