What is Research? using a book, the WWW, teacher,class notes, other adults, locate background infothat will help you to answer the problems to thislab. List the sources used.:
What is a Hypothesis? an educated guess using “If _____(I do this), then ______ (this) will happenbecause …_____________.
What is Control? list all the variables that will be kept the SAME
What is an Independent Variable? What I can change
What is a Dependent Variable? what will be measured,something that relies on something else
What is a Procedure? ☺ Step by step directions on how todo the lab/experiment including ALL variables
What is DATA? Info that will be collected during theexperiment
What is a Conclusion Written as a paragraph/summary ofyour findings
What is a Claim? hypothesis was or was not supportedand what happened in your experiment
What is Evidence? specific data from experiment thatsupports what happened in your experiment
What is an Interpretation? example of how this topicrelates to something in your life OR identify anew problem you could investigate
