What technique should be applied for subcutaneous injections? -pinch the skin -needle length should be about 1/2 of the depth of the pinched skin. aspirate to check for blood if the med cannot be given IV. Apply bandaid

What technique should be applied for subcutaneous injections? -Aspirate and check for blood -inject slowly -massage after injection to promote absorption -apply a bandaid
