what is the lab title? should be a description of whatyour lab is about.
what is the "problem" of the lab? ask a question about something youobserve –how, what, when, who, which, why or where?
what is research? using a book, the WWW, teacher, class notes, other adults, locate background infothat will help you to answer the problems to this lab.
what is the hypothesis? an educated guess using “If _____(I do this), then ______ (this) will happenbecause …_____________.
what is control? list all the variables that will be kept the SAME.
What is an Independent Variable? What I can change
what is an Dependent Variable? what will be measured,something that relies on something else
what is the Procedure? Step by step directions on how todo the lab/experiment including ALL variables
what is Data? Info that will be collected during the experiment
what is the Conclusion? Written as a paragraph/summary of your findings
what is claim? hypothesis was or was not supportedand what happened in your experiment
what is Evidence? specific data from experiment thatsupports what happened in your experiment
what is Interpretation? example of how this topicrelates to something in your life OR identify anew problem you could investigate
