What is a metamorphic rock? Forms when rock is exposed to heat and pressure and CHANGES, but does not melt
What are the properties of a mineral? Luster, hardness, and color
What are the properties of soil? Texture, content, and grain size
Which kind of soil is best for growing plants because it has essential nutrients from decaying plant and animal material? humus
What kind of soil has a lot of space in between particles and feels gritty? sand
What type of soil is sticky when wet and crumbly when dry? clay
