Lung organ in the body which carries out gaseous exchange
trachea tube which air travels into and out of lungs
rings of cartilage use to keep trachea open
bronchus trachea leads in the bronchus which bring air into and out of the lungs
bronchioles small tubes which bring air into and out the lungs, connected to the alveoli
alveoli where gaseous exchange takes place
diaphragm sheet of muscle underneath the ribs and lungs which helps us to breathe
ribs part of the skeletal system which helps protects the lungs
