TermDefinition
wave disturbance that transfers energy from one place to another.
medium the material through witch waves travel.
transfer waves partial's move perpendicularly to the direction the waves travel.
mechanical waves waves that require a medium.
electromagnetic waves disturbances in electronic and magnetic fields.
longitudinal waves particals move back and fourth in the same direction that the wave travels or parallel to the wave.
