Evaporation evaporation of a liquid occurs when the surface of a liquid into a gaseous phase that is not saturated with the evaporation substance
Condensation Condensation is the change of the physical state of matter from gas form to liquid form and is the reverse of evaporation. Most often refers to the water cycle
Precipitation rain, snow, sleet or hail that falls to the ground
Transpiration The process of water movement through a plant and its evaporation from aerial parts like leaves, stems, and flowers
Runoff the draining away of water from the surface of an area of land, a building structure, etc
Groundwater water present beneath Earth’s surface in soil pore spaces and its fractures of rock formations
Source a natural space or fountain
Mouth an enclosing or entrance to a structure that is hollow concave, or almost completely enclosed
Velocity the speed of something in a given direction
Bed Load describes particles in a flowing fluid that are transported along the bed. Moves by rolling, sliding, and/or salivating
Tributaries a river or stream flowing into a larger river or lake
Topography the arrangement of the natural and artificial physical features of an area
Gradient an inclined part of a road or railway; a slope
