Light and Thermal Energy

TermDefinition
Translucent allow some light to pass through (think wax paper)
Reflector a flat, smooth, shiny, and opaque object
Opaque does NOT allow light to pass through, like a desk
Transparent allows all light to pass through, like a window
Conductor allows energy to pass through easly
Light Energy energy that travles in the form of straight lines
Thermal Energy energy that comes from heat (atoms begin to move quicker when heated)
Insulator an object that slows or stop the flow of energy
