Evaporation the process when the heat of the sun changes water on earth's surface from a liquid to a gas
condensation return of water vapor to a liquid state by cooling
precipitation liquid or solid water that falls from clouds to earth
transpiration release of water vapor from plants leaves into the air
run off precipitation that runs off the ground
ground water water from rain and melting snow that seeps into the ground and is stored beneath earth's surface
source place where a river or stream begins
mouth place where a stream or river ends by flowing into another body of water
