Protist A eukaryotic organism that cannot be classified as an animal plant or fungus
Protozoan Are unicellular animal like protists
Pseudopod A false foot or temporary bulge of cytoplasm used for feeding and movement in some protozoans
Pigment One a colored chemical compound that absorbs light to a colored substance use to color other materials
Contractile vacuole This cell structure that collects extra water from the cytoplasm and then expells it from the cell
Cilia Tiny hairlike projections on the outside of the cells that move in wave like manner
Algae Plant like protists
Spore In bacteria produce and fungi a sick walled tiny cell capable of surviving unfavorable conditions and then growing into a new organism
