Plant-like Protists

QuestionAnswer
Englenoids They are green, unicellular algae that is found in fresh water. They are autotrophs and make food by the sun light but when there is no sun light they become heterotrophs. They move using flagellum. The euglena
Dino flagellates unicellular algae surrounded with amour. Have a variate of colors. Have 2 flagella surrounding them.
Diatoms unicellular and have glass like cell walls. They move around oozing chemicals. When they die the form a layer called a coarse.
Red Algae A multi cellular seaweed. Is found 260 meters below the surface of the water and c=is used in products such as Ice cream and conditioner.
Brown Algae This seaweed is in a variate of colors such as brown, yellow, green, and orange. They have gas filled bladders to allow them to float but have a root system that keeps them down.
