The Big Bang Theory is the dominant (and highly supported) theory of the origin of the universe. In essence, this theory states that the universe began from an initial point or singularity which has expanded over billions of years to form the universe as we now know it
Summer solstice When the North Pole is in the sunlight.the Northern Hemisphere is having SUMMER. Sun is over the Tropic of Cancer.
Winter Solstice When the North Pole is in darkness, the northern Hemisphere is having WINTER. Sun is over the tropic of Capricorn.
The Moon is earth's only natural satellite Also Known as Luna.
Eclipse occur when the Sun, Earth and the Moon are perfectly aligned.
New moon Solar occurs during the New Moon.
Full Moon Lunar occurs during the Full Moon.
Kupier Belt Passes through it at the outer edge of the solar system.
Asteroids are leftover debris from the formation of the solar system. Made from rocks that are similar to that which formed planet.
Asteroid belt located between Mars and Jupiter.
Meteorid is debris located outside of Earth’s atmosphere.
Meteors If this debris enters our atmosphere, they are called.
meteorites If the meteors impact the surface, they are called.
Hubble Space Telescope has been a tremendous contribution to our knowledge of what is beyond the Earth. It was carried into orbit by a space shuttle in 1990 and remains in operation.
