Layers of the Earth

QuestionAnswer
The Crust A layer of solid rock that includes both dry land and ocean floors.
The Mantle A large rock that is very hot but solid. Divided based on characteristics.
Lithosphere Lithos= stone very rigid (crust and upper upper mantle)
Asthenosphere Asthenos= weak softer less rigid. ( Middle+ lower mantle)
