Bacteria A tiny, living organism
Cytoplasm The region inside a cell membrain
Rhizomes Small structures inside cells or bacteria that are in charge of creating certain proteins
flagellum A small tail-like structure that propelles bacteria forward.
Cellular respiration The posses of bacteria breaking down food and turning it into energy
Binary fission When one cell divides into two identical cells
Conjugation When one bacterium transfers genetic material to an other bacterium.
Endospore A small cell that lives inside a bacteria
Pasturization The posses of boiling something to kill the bacteria inside it
Decomposer Organisms that break down large, complex chemicals.
