Elasticity | Ability to recoil to their original resting length after they have been stretched. |
Extensibility | The ability to be stretched. |
Epimysuim | Each skeletal muscle is surrounded by a connective tissue sheath. |
Fascia | Another connective tissue located outside the Epimysium. It surrounds the muscle. |
Perimysium | A muscle composed of numerous visible bundles called muscl fasciculi which are surrounded by loose connective tissue |
fibers | The fasciculi are composed of single muscle cells. |
Actin myofilaments | Thin myofilaments. They resemble 2 minute strands if pearls twisted together. |
