QuestionAnswer
Planet One of the heavenly bodies that orbit the sun.
Universe Everything that exists in space, including the earth, planets, sun & stars.
Gravity A physical force causing objects to pull on other objects, such as with the sun pulling on the earth.
Instinct a gift God gives to creatures causing them to behave in a cetain manner that is helpful to their survival, such as birds flying south for the winter.
NASA National Aeronautics and Space Administration
Galileo Galilei Scientist who use telescopes to study planets and stars and supported the idea of the astronomer Copernicius
Nicolas Copernicus Astronomer who supported the idea that the earth revolved around the sun.
Stonehenge An ancient monument of stones in England that may have been used to predict the arrival of spring and other seasons.
Astronomy The study of everything in space, including stars, planets, sun and moon.
Astonomer A person who studies everything in space including the stars, planets, sun an moons.
National Aeronautics and Space Administration Is in charge of America's space program. Builds spaceships, telescopes, robots and things for space exploration.
Hubble Space Telescope Sends pictures back from space to earth so we can learn more about the sun, planets, stars and moons.
Satellite Object in space that travels in a circle around another object. example the moon orbits the earth.
