| What are suspensions? | Gas or liquid has another substance evenly spread throughout it; a.) unlike solutions, substances can sink to the bottom b.) Blood- red, white blood cells and platelets c.) oil & H2O; fine sand and H2O |

| What are inorganic compounds? | Made from elements other than carbon i.e) water (H2O) is an inorganic compound |

| What is DNA? | deoxyribonucleic acid- directs activity of the cell |
| What are the parts of organic compounds? | Carbohydrates, lipids, proteins, nucleic acids |
