chemical sedimentary When minerals crystallize out of water in sedimentary rocks
deposition Process by which a mineral is laid down .
igenous type of rock that forms when hot, liquid magmaa cools and hardens
magma hot, liquid melted rock
erosion Process by which wind, water, rain and gravity move the soil.
metamorphic type of rock that forms from extreme heat and pressure that changes the rocks chemical compostion.
sedimentary type of rock that forms from sediment is deposited in layers
weathering breaking down of rocks into small pieces
intrusive formed below the earth's surface
extrusive formed above the earth's surface
mafic made from dark colored minerals, like iron
felsic made from light colored minerals like sodium & aluminum
