| What is the theme of Region? | Geographers use this theme to group places that have something in common, such as, history, people, climate, or human or physical features. |
| What is the theme of Location? | Geographers study a place by finding where it is on the Earth. |
| What is the theme of Place? | Geographers study the human and physical features at a specific location, for example languages spoken, climate or topography. |
| What is the theme of Movement? | This theme helps explain how people, goods, and ideas get from one place to another. |
| What is the theme of Human-Environmental Interaction? | This theme explores how people affect their environment, or their natural surroundings, and how their environment affects them. |
| Thte Mercator Projection | makes areas near the Poles look bigger than they are to stretch the round surface of the Earth to be flat. |
| Equal- Area Projections | shows the correct size of landmasses, but their shapes are altered. |
| The Robinson Projection | is the most accurate map available. |
